Powder Room Addition

We removed three entryway walls and raised the ceiling seven inches to create an expansive entryway. Next, we closed up the entrance to the bedrooms corridor and added a powder room and entryway closet to the new space. We gained immediate sight-lines from the front door straight to the backyard. The powder room was an amazing additional for this family who loves to entertain.

For the design, the client requested a "light and airy, unique, but with straight lines" design. They wanted something that wasn't the obvious choice and hoped to use a family heirloom mirror in the design. The off centered countertop was a unique choice that you don't see often. Matte black fixtures added a modern touch to this otherwise minimal design. The floating wood vanity added an organic element that was a common theme amongst their overall style.
